Governance

The Adaptation Scotland work plan and activities are directed by our Programme Board which is made up of representatives from across the Scottish Government.

The Programme Board receives valuable input and feedback from the Adaptation Scotland Advisory Network which is made up of senior representatives from the public sector, business, communities and academia.

The Advisory Network helps to identify ideas and opportunities for progressing adaptation challenges and provides feedback on all of our activities, ensuring our projects are based on the most up to date science and deliver the best possible benefits for Scotland.

Advisory Network members include Scotland’s 2020 Climate Group, ClimateXChange, the University of Dundee, Historic Environment Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage, bre, Glasgow City Council, 2050 Climate Group, International Institute for Environment and Development, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, the Sustainable Scotland Network, Scottish Enterprise, Pas, Scottish Communities Climate Action Network and the University of Edinburgh.
